The VelaCure3D chamber is available as manually operated (using UV lamp on/off) or Vela ControlCure controlled, which allows the operator to program either exposure time or UV dose (J/cm2). Uniformly and rapidly cures complex shaped parts. Can be configured for either production or lab use. 12″, 18″ or 24″ chambers available.
VelaCure3D Custom chambers are designed and optimized for specific manufacturing applications. Vela’s custom curing chambers integrate well into your manufacturing line and interact with your PLC controller. Custom chambers are powerful, fast and can simultaneously cure hundreds of parts. Clamshell-type chambers and dip-tank type chambers can easily mate with your automation layout.
The VelaCure3D Lab Catheter System is able to simultaneously cure 6 catheters or guidewires up to 500mm in length. These chambers uniformly cure all catheter surfaces with high uniformity, without any need to move the catheters. They are successfully in use for both PTA and urinary catheters. Cure times are short, typically less than 30 seconds. These 6UP chambers are perfect for developing and qualifying new products, and some are in use in actual manufacturing lines. The ControlCure controllers allow precise control over exposure times or UV dose (J/cm2) received by the products.
